How does Seatview's seating chart generator decide where guests go?
Auto-assign fills tables using the relationships you set on your guest list: pairs marked to sit together are kept at the same table, pairs marked as conflicts are separated, and guests in the same group are seated together where seats allow. It fills every table in one pass, and you can drag any guest afterwards.
Can I change seats after generating the chart?
Yes. A generated chart is fully editable. Drag any guest to any seat, or undo the generated pass entirely. Seatview saves as you go and lets you keep named versions, so you can try a different arrangement and roll back if it turns out worse.
Do I need an account to generate a seating chart?
